Beaded bauble ornament cover

  Pattern 45

Please note that this pattern is NOT an instant download. It will be emailed to you as soon as I can but may take a few hours depending on the time of day. This is a manual process (not automatic) so thank you for your patience whilst I send this over to you.

This pattern contains instructions to make the delicate-looking beaded bauble ornament cover shown in the photos. This is a decorative item that goes over a Christmas tree bauble. It is not attached to the bauble in any way, it is just placed over the neck of the bauble and it stays securely in place once in use. It can be easily removed at any time but cannot just fall off.

Four vertical rows of bugle beads are linked by swags of daisies and embellished with a larger seed beads at the bottom of each row.

This beadwork is very flexible in the way it fits so can be used equally well on a bauble of anywhere between 5cm to 7cm in width.

Beading level: suitable for everyone. It is explained in great detail with lots of diagrams and written instructions and is very easy to follow. All my patterns are written in English and use UK terms.

35 jam-packed pages including 11 pages of helpful information about basic beading.  34 clear computer-drawn diagrams. Written instructions with  103 individual steps. 18 photos of finished work.

You will need size 11 seed beads in three colours, 6mm bugle beads,  twenty 4mm round beads, a beading needle and thread, and a glass or shatterproof round Christmas tree bauble ornament that is 5cm to 7cm wide. You can use 4mm bicones or size 6 seed beads instead of the 4mm round beads if you prefer. The photos will give you lots of ideas for colour variations and then I'm sure you'll be able to come up with more of your own.
